Mean anything to you? It took me a decade working in Global Health and a decade managing my own infertility to be able to decode any of this (just a small sample!).
This is why i'm so passionate about #storytelling:
I have never wanted nor claimed to be a geneticist, a doctor or a scientist. I marvel at the innovations of these professions. But storytelling and medical science seems to be suffering something of a disconnect. It keeps medical innovations elitist, exclusive and impenetrable. My view? It's time to ditch the acronyms and speak HUMAN to the people in the audience.
