New York, Sept 2025... the flagship event for the Gates Foundation in their quest to keep the world accountable for its SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) commitments. Wow! What a show. Never have I needed a more life affirming reminder of the beauty and brilliance of humanity. Incredible individuals with stories of hope even when progress is under threat. We learned that for the first time in decades, this year more children will die from PREVENTABLE diseases than in 2024.

A fantastic few days moderating "Health Without Borders" for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities . First up, what a venue in the heart of Manhattan at Cipriani 42nd Street. I worked alongside incredible colleagues at Devex who pulled the whole event together (at relatively short notice and all while their own multi-day event was taking place across town!).
